Until recently, most bloggers who use WordPress required a computer to write and upload their posts. Now, the WordPress Blackberry App lets Blackberry users take their work on the road. The app is designed to allow bloggers to write posts, edit pages, manage comments, and upload photos and videos. Both the self-hosted WordPress.org and WordPress.com (hosted by WordPress) are supported. The newest version of the app includes support for the Blackberry Torch 9800.
The WordPress Blackberry App is available at Blackberry App World for download with Windows computers (Apple/Mac users will receive an apology message with no way to download the app).
A free video on the app is available at WordPress.tv (destination site may not be supported on all mobile phones). Scroll through to the comment section for a robust discussion about supported phones, video formats (HTML5), and other helpful information.
